Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups raw macadamia nuts
  • 1 1/2 cups raw cashews
  • 1 cup natural almonds
  • 1 tablespoon VEGEMITE
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon chilli powder

Method

  • SPREAD the nuts on a large paper lined baking tray and bake in a moderate oven 180oC for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • COMBINE the remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Add the nuts and stir to coat evenly.
  • Return the nuts to the baking tray and bake for a further 3-5 minutes or until dry to touch.
  • Working quickly, use 2 spoons to press 2 tablespoon approx.
  • of the nuts into clusters.
  • Set aside on tray to cool completely before serving.
  • Nuts may be left separate if preferred.
