Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups raw macadamia nuts
- 1 1/2 cups raw cashews
- 1 cup natural almonds
- 1 tablespoon VEGEMITE
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons water
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon chilli powder
Method
- SPREAD the nuts on a large paper lined baking tray and bake in a moderate oven 180oC for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- COMBINE the remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add the nuts and stir to coat evenly.
- Return the nuts to the baking tray and bake for a further 3-5 minutes or until dry to touch.
- Working quickly, use 2 spoons to press 2 tablespoon approx.
- of the nuts into clusters.
- Set aside on tray to cool completely before serving.
- Nuts may be left separate if preferred.
