Ingredients
- 8 c. squash, sliced thin
- 2 c. onions, sliced thin
- 2 Tsp. coarse salt
- 2 c. vinegar
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
- 2 tsp. celery seed
Method
- Place squash and onions
- in
- colander and add salt; let stand for 2 hours.
- Boil
- vinegar
- and add sugar.
- Boil for 10 minutes. Combine squash, onions, mustard seed and celery seed with
- sugar and
- vinegar
- solution and simmer for 10 minutes. Seal in sterilized jars.
