Ingredients

  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 1 (16 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • butter
  • onions
  • 4 peppers
  • 2 c. cooked ground beef
  • 1 c. Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar (optional)

Method

  • Melt butter in a skillet and brown onions and ground beef. Cut tops out of peppers and clean.
  • Mix rice, ground beef mixture and spaghetti sauce and stuff into peppers.
  • Top with cheese.
  • Put some sauce in bottom of pan and place peppers in dish.
  • Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of sugar in each pepper (optional).
  • Cover with foil and cook at 350°
  • for 30 minutes.
