Ingredients

  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3/4 c. unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar substitute
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

Method

  • In saucepan over medium heat, cook raisins, water, margarine, cinnamon and nutmeg until margarine is melted; continue cooking 3 minutes.
  • Add other ingredients.
  • Spread into an 8-inch square baking pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly brown.
