Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. cracker crumbs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 3 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green bell peppers

Method

  • Mix ground beef with milk and cracker crumbs in bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Shape into 1 1/2-inch meatballs. Place in 9 x 9-inch baking dish. Combine vinegar, catsup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, onion and green pepper in saucepan. Bring to a boil; pour over meatballs.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
