Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast halves, skinned
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 4 oz. sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. onion soup mix
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp. water

Method

  • Cut chicken breasts in approximately 2 x 1/2-inch strips.
  • Cut diagonally.
  • Melt butter or margarine in large skillet; add chicken and brown on all sides.
  • Remove chicken from skillet, saving the drippings.
  • Add green pepper and mushrooms.
  • Saute until tender-crisp.
  • Return chicken to skillet.
