Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast halves, skinned
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 4 oz. sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp. water
Method
- Cut chicken breasts in approximately 2 x 1/2-inch strips.
- Cut diagonally.
- Melt butter or margarine in large skillet; add chicken and brown on all sides.
- Remove chicken from skillet, saving the drippings.
- Add green pepper and mushrooms.
- Saute until tender-crisp.
- Return chicken to skillet.
