Ingredients
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 c. buttermilk
- 3/4 to 1 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
Method
- Combine eggs, milk and vanilla.
- In separate bowl, combine dry ingredients.
- Add wet ingredients to dry.
- Add melted butter. Whisk until batter is smooth, but do not overmix.
- Nuts can be added at this point, or sprinkled on waffle prior to cooking. Cook waffles until golden brown.
- Top with whipped cream and grated walnuts, if desired.
