Ingredients
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 cup Olive Oil, Plus 1 Teaspoon For The Pasta Water
- 6 cups Fresh Basil
- 6 cloves Garlic
- 1 pound Whole Wheat Pasta
- 5 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese
Method
- 1.
- Boil water in a large pot, add a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of olive oil.
- Wait for it to boil.

- Wash basil and pat dry with paper towels.
- Place in a blender.
- 3.
- Take the garlic cloves and throw them in the blender.
- 4.
- Start the blender and slowly add 1 cup of olive oil until desired texture is reached.
- 5.
- Once water is boiling, throw uncooked pasta into the pot and wait until pasta is al dente or fully cooked (whichever you prefer).
- Once pasta is done, drain pasta into a colander, place drained pasta into a plate and scoop 3 tablespoons of pesto into each plate.
- 6.
- Garnish with Parmesan cheese and enjoy!
