Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 14 1/2 oz. can zesty diced tomatoes w/ mild chilies
- 1 c. dried elbow macaroni
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- sliced green onions, if desired
- sour cream, if desired
Method
- Brown meat and onion in large skillet.
- Drain, season with salt and pepper if desired.
- Add undrained tomatoes and water; bring to a boil.
- Stir in macaroni. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until pasta is cooked.
- Stir in cheese. Garnish with sliced green onions and sour cream if desired.
