Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. Stella D'Oro almond toast
  • 1 (3.4 oz.) pkg. chocolate pudding (not instant)
  • 1 (3.4 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding (not instant)
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream
  • chocolate bar

Method

  • Use a 10-inch spring pan.
  • Layer 1 bag of almond toast on its side.
  • Any extra, break and fill in.
  • Cook vanilla pudding in 1 3/4 cups of milk and 1/2 cup Amaretto.
  • Pour over cookies.
  • Layer second bag of almond toast.
  • Cook chocolate pudding in 1 3/4 cups of milk and 1/4 cup Amaretto.
  • Pour over second layer.
  • Refrigerate overnight.
  • Take sides off of pan.
  • Frost with whipped cream and decorate with chocolate shavings.
  • Serves 10 to 12.
