Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. red cinnamon candy
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin
  • 1 1/2 c. applesauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. diced celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. salad dressing

Method

  • Combine 1 cup boiling water and candy.
  • Mix until completely dissolved. Add gelatin. Stir to dissolve.
  • Blend in applesauce. Pour half the mixture into a 9 x 12-inch pan. Chill until firm. Blend remaining ingredients together.
  • Pour over firm applesauce mixture.
  • Pour remaining applesauce over cream cheese mixture. Chill until firm.
