- 1 (29 oz.) can crushed pineapple
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange gelatin
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. heavy cream, whipped
- 1 (29 oz.) can apricots
- 3/4 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. grated cheese (optional)
Method
- Drain fruits separately; reserve juices. Chop apricots. Dissolve gelatin in 2 cups hot water; add 1/2 cup pineapple juice and 1/2 cup apricot juice. Chill until thickened.
- Add marshmallows, pineapple and apricots.
- Place in an 8 x 8-inch container. Chill until firm.
