Ingredients

  • 1 (29 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange gelatin
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. heavy cream, whipped
  • 1 (29 oz.) can apricots
  • 3/4 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. grated cheese (optional)

Method

  • Drain fruits separately; reserve juices. Chop apricots. Dissolve gelatin in 2 cups hot water; add 1/2 cup pineapple juice and 1/2 cup apricot juice. Chill until thickened.
  • Add marshmallows, pineapple and apricots.
  • Place in an 8 x 8-inch container. Chill until firm.
