Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. can tomato soup
  • 1/2 c. sugar (Sprinkle Sweet)
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. prepared mustard
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3 egg yolks

Method

  • Whisk all ingredients together except butter.
  • Heat butter and add mixture to pan.
  • Simmer 5 to 10 minutes until thick.
  • You can not substitute margarine as it will separate later.
  • This sauce is great for any meats.
  • If you want a good mustard barbecue sauce, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of Matouk's hot sauce after it cools down and mix in.
