Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 3 eggs
- 7 c. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
Method
- Dissolve yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar
- in water.
- Scald milk, add shortening, sugar and salt.
- Cool
- to
- lukewarm
- and add 2 cups flour.
- Beating with electric mixer,
- add yeast and eggs. Beat well and add remainder of flour
- to
- make
- soft dough. Knead lightly and
- place
- in
- greased bowl.
- Cover and set in warm place and
- let
- rise
- until
- double in bulk.
- When light, punch down and shape into rolls or buns.
