Ingredients
- 1 small head cabbage
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. uncooked rice
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 c. hot water
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Remove outer leaves of cabbage, cut cabbage into 6 wedges. Place in baking dish.
- Sprinkle onion and rice between wedges. Crumble ground beef between wedges.
- Combine tomatoes, water, salt and pepper in bowl.
- Mix well.
- Pour over casserole.
- Bake, covered, at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
- Yields 6 servings.
