Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp. black walnut flavoring
- 1 1/2 c. sweet milk
- 3 c. plain flour
- 2/3 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. black walnuts
Method
- Cream sugar and Crisco in large mixing bowl; add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
- Alternately add flour and milk, beating until creamy.
- Add flavoring and nuts.
- Pour mixture in greased cake pan (I use tube pan).
- Bake for 1 hour and 40 minutes at 325°.
