Ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage
- 6 slices bread (remove edges)
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. half and half
- 6 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Method
- Grease pan with butter and place bread in pan.
- Brown sausage and drain.
- Beat eggs and salt.
- Pour sausage, blended with eggs, over bread.
- Add cream and sprinkle cheese over.
- Refrigerate overnight; remove 15 minutes before cooking.
- Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
- Serves 12; freezes well.
