Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak
- 14 cup ketchup
- 12 teaspoon asian chili paste
Method
- Prepare the broiler pan by spraying it with cooking spray.
- Pre-heat the broiler.
- Place the steak on the pan and broil 5 to 6 minutes, until browned.
- Turn and broil another 4 to 5 minutes, until lightly browned.
- Meanwhile, combine ketchup and chili paste.
- Brush on flank steak and return to the broiler until the glaze is "set" and the edges begin to bubble, about 2 minutes.
- Let steak rest 5 minutes then cut, against the grain, into thin slices.
