Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, sliced into rings
  • 1 (28 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can lima beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic

Method

  • Saute onions in a small amount of oil.
  • Add sugar, mustard, vinegar, salt and garlic.
  • Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Pour over and toss with beans that have been mixed together in a large bowl. Pour into a large casserole and bake at 350° for 1/2 hour or until hot and bubbly.
