Ingredients
- 2 large onions, sliced into rings
- 1 (28 oz.) can pork and beans
- 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
- 1 (15 oz.) can lima beans
- 1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic
Method
- Saute onions in a small amount of oil.
- Add sugar, mustard, vinegar, salt and garlic.
- Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
- Pour over and toss with beans that have been mixed together in a large bowl. Pour into a large casserole and bake at 350° for 1/2 hour or until hot and bubbly.
