Ingredients

  • 3 pkg. crescent rolls
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. light corn syrup
  • cinnamon and sugar

Method

  • In bottom of deep dish baker or pie pan, mix brown sugar, melted butter and syrup together.
  • On cutting board, spread crescent rolls out, two at a time, to form a rectangle.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  • Place a line of chopped pecans down one end.
  • Roll up dough in a tube; cut into 5 pieces.
  • Place in baking dish, arranging over caramel mixture.
  • Place in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before inverting onto serving plate so the caramel can set up and not run.
