Ingredients
- 5 pieces bread, buttered on both sides
- 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 can mushrooms
Method
- Place bread in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Grate the cheeses; mix together and sprinkle on bread.
- Mix together the eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt and pepper.
- Beat well.
- Pour over cheese.
- Sprinkle mushrooms over top.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before baking.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
