Ingredients
- 5 (1/2) chicken breasts, skin removed
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. sage
- 1 large can chicken broth
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 or 2 cans Pillsbury biscuits
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- In large pan put washed chicken.
- Cover with water.
- Add onion, celery and sage.
- Boil until chicken is tender.
- Remove and set aside.
- Add can of chicken broth, bouillon cubes and butter to water in pan.
- Roll out biscuits thinly on floured board.
- Cut into slices.
- Add to boiling broth.
- Turn heat to medium.
- Debone chicken and add to pan in pieces.
- Cook about 15 or 20 minutes. One can of biscuits will feed 4; two cans will feed a crowd.
