Ingredients

  • 1 (3 lb.) chicken
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • pepper and salt
  • 1 1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix

Method

  • Boil chicken; remove from broth and bone.
  • Reserve chicken broth.
  • Mix together soups and milk.
  • Grease 2 (2-quart) casserole dishes.
  • Alternate layers of chicken (broken in small pieces) with soup mixture, leaving soup mixture on top.
  • Moisten dressing with chicken broth and put on top of soup mixture.
  • Bake until brown at 350°.
  • Makes 2 casseroles.
  • Freeze one for later use.
