Ingredients
- 1 (3 lb.) chicken
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- pepper and salt
- 1 1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix
Method
- Boil chicken; remove from broth and bone.
- Reserve chicken broth.
- Mix together soups and milk.
- Grease 2 (2-quart) casserole dishes.
- Alternate layers of chicken (broken in small pieces) with soup mixture, leaving soup mixture on top.
- Moisten dressing with chicken broth and put on top of soup mixture.
- Bake until brown at 350°.
- Makes 2 casseroles.
- Freeze one for later use.
