Ingredients

  • 3 split chicken breasts (6 pieces)
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup or cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 c. water or white wine
  • onion and garlic croutons
  • 1/2 stick butter

Method

  • Partially cook chicken in small amount of water.
  • Place chicken in 3-quart baking dish.
  • Place slice of cheese on top of each breast piece.
  • Mix soup and water; pour on top of breasts. Crunch up croutons and put on top.
  • Pour melted butter on top. Bake at 350° for 1 hour, uncovered.
  • Makes 6 servings.
  • Good served with rice.
