Ingredients
- 3 split chicken breasts (6 pieces)
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup or cream of celery soup
- 1/2 c. water or white wine
- onion and garlic croutons
- 1/2 stick butter
Method
- Partially cook chicken in small amount of water.
- Place chicken in 3-quart baking dish.
- Place slice of cheese on top of each breast piece.
- Mix soup and water; pour on top of breasts. Crunch up croutons and put on top.
- Pour melted butter on top. Bake at 350° for 1 hour, uncovered.
- Makes 6 servings.
- Good served with rice.
