Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb. ground beef or turkey
- 3 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans
- 1 1/2 qt. tomato juice
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 c. celery
- 1 large onion
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 5 Tbsp. flour
Method
- Brown
- the meat, onion and celery.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add this to the beans, tomato juice, chili powder, sugar and
- more
- salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook about 1 hour over
- low heat.
- Mix flour with water as a thickening and add to soup, stirring constantly until thick.
