Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 2 c. Kellogg's Rice Krispies
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Method

  • Stir together flour, soda and salt; set aside.
  • Measure margarine, sugar and brown sugar into large mixing bowl.
  • Beat until well blended.
  • Add eggs and vanilla.
  • Beat well.
  • Add dry ingredients.
  • Mix until combined.
  • Stir in Rice Krispies and chocolate morsels.
  • Drop level spoon on greased sheet.
  • Bake on 350° about 10 minutes.
  • Cool about 1 minute before removing from sheet.
  • Yields about 6 dozen 2-inch cookies.
