Ingredients
- 1/2 c. egg whites
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. moist shredded coconut
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
Method
- Beat egg whites until frothy.
- Gradually beat in sugar. Continue beating until mixture is very stiff and glossy.
- Stir in salt, vanilla, coconut and melted but slightly cooled chocolate. Drop heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased wrapping paper on cookie sheet.
- Bake about 20 minutes at 325°.
- Bake until set and delicately browned.
- Makes about 3 dozen Kisses.
