Ingredients

  • 4 c. sugar
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 pt. Marshmallow Creme
  • 2 sticks butter or oleo
  • 1 c. broken nuts
  • 12 oz. chocolate bits

Method

  • Cook sugar, milk and butter to soft ball stage 236°, stirring frequently.
  • Remove from heat; add chocolate pieces, Marshmallow Creme, vanilla and 1 cup nuts.
  • Beat until chocolate is melted and blended.
  • Pour into well buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Immediately score into squares.
  • Cool and when set, cut into squares.
