Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup cold Land O Lakes Butter
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup mini real semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup almond or English toffee bits
- 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes Butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Method
- Heat oven to 375F.
- Combine flour, 1/4 cup sugar, baking powder and baking soda in bowl; cut in 1/2 cup butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in milk just until flour is moistened.
- Gently stir in chocolate chips and toffee bits.
- Drop about 1/4 cup batter for each biscuit, 1 inch apart, onto large ungreased baking sheet.
- Brush tops with melted butter.
- Sprinkle biscuits evenly with 1 tablespoon sugar.
- Bake 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Serve warm.
