Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. pork steak
- 1 1/2 lb. beef (steak or stew meat)
- 8 medium onions, cut up
- 1 bunch celery, cut in strips
- 1 can bean sprouts
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
Method
- Cut meat in small cubes. Brown meat and onions for 45 min. Cover with water, add celery and tsp. salt. Simmer 2 hours. Then add bean sprouts and water chestnuts. Simmer for another hour. Thicken sauce with flour and water. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
