Ingredients

  • 3 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts

Method

  • Line an 8-inch square baking pan with waxed paper or aluminum foil.
  • In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, combine chocolate chips, condensed milk and salt.
  • Cook over low heat until chips melt. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in nuts and vanilla.
  • Spread mixture evenly into the lined pan.
  • Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm. Cut into squares.
