Ingredients

  • FOR THE CINNAMON SUGAR:
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/3 cups White Sugar
  • FOR THE BREAD:
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/3 cups Vegetable Oil

Method

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x5 loaf pan. Prepare the cinnamon sugar mixture and set aside.
  • 2. For the bread, in a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add egg, milk and oil to flour mixture. Mix until just moistened.
  • 3. Pour half of batter into pan. Sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar, reserving some for sprinkling on top. Cover with remaining batter. Sprinkle with the reserved cinnamon and sugar.
  • 4. Bake for 45 minutes or until it tests done. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes and then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
