Ingredients
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. cranberry juice
- 1 c. cranberries, chopped in blender
- 2 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Method
- Cream together the sugars and butter.
- Add egg, juice and cranberries.
- Beat thoroughly.
- Sift together dry ingredients; combine with egg mixture.
- Fold in nuts.
- Shape into rolls or squares 2-inches wide.
- Wrap in aluminum foil or waxed paper and chill overnight or freeze.
- Slice thin and place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Bake in 375° oven for about 12 minutes. Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
