Ingredients
- 3 oz. softened Philly cream cheese
- 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
- 2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion or chives
- 8 oz. can Pillsbury refrigerator quick crescent Italian flavor dinner rolls
- 1 Tbsp. melted margarine
- 3/4 c. crushed seasoned croutons
Method
- Blend the cream cheese with the 2 tablespoons melted margarine until smooth. Add the chicken, salt, pepper, milk and onion or chives.
- Mix well.
- Separate the rolls into 4 rectangles.
- Seal perforations.
- Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle.
- Pull 4 corners of dough to center of mixture; seal. Brush top with 1 tablespoons melted margarine. Dip in seasoned croutons.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
