Ingredients

  • 3 oz. softened Philly cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onion or chives
  • 8 oz. can Pillsbury refrigerator quick crescent Italian flavor dinner rolls
  • 1 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 3/4 c. crushed seasoned croutons

Method

  • Blend the cream cheese with the 2 tablespoons melted margarine until smooth. Add the chicken, salt, pepper, milk and onion or chives.
  • Mix well.
  • Separate the rolls into 4 rectangles.
  • Seal perforations.
  • Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle.
  • Pull 4 corners of dough to center of mixture; seal. Brush top with 1 tablespoons melted margarine. Dip in seasoned croutons.
  • Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Refrigerate leftovers.
