Ingredients

  • 8 oz. crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 3 Tbsp. catsup
  • 1 lb. lean hamburg
  • 2 slices bread, crumbled
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 tsp. horseradish
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce

Method

  • Reserve 2 tablespoons pineapple juice.
  • Add 1 tablespoon catsup to reserved juice and set aside.
  • Drain rest of pineapple and add to remaining ingredients.
  • Mix together well.
  • Pour in loaf pan and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and brush with pineapple juice catsup mixture.
  • Return to oven for an additional 15 minutes.
