Ingredients
- 500 grams Ground beef (or a pork and beef blend)
- 1/4 tbsp Salt
- 1/4 tbsp Pepper
- 1 tbsp Katakuriko
Method
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and flatten the meat into one square like in the picture.
- Cut into 2-3 cm squares.
- Cook on the griddle with your favourite sauce, such as a Yakiniku Japanese BBQ sauce (not listed).
- Cook each side of the meat, turning with a spatula so it doesn't burn.
- It's done when the sauce has mixed in.
- You can also make this in a frying pan, and serve it with grated daikon radish and ponzu sauce.
- It is delicious.
