Ingredients
- melted butter or oleo
- salt (little)
- pepper (fresh ground)
- nutmeg (fresh ground)
- potatoes, well-scrubbed
- sour cream
- chives
Method
- Melt oleo in flat baking dish.
- Use just enough to cover bottom.
- Sprinkle pan with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- Slice potatoes in half and place, cut side down, in dish.
- Lightly butter potato skin.
- Bake at 425° for 45 to 60 minutes.
- Serve with sour cream and chives.
- Nutmeg is a must.
