Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 3/4 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 milk chocolate kiss
  • 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans (undrained)

Method

  • Cook first 3 ingredients in olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, stirring until ground beef crumbles; drain. Return mixture to Dutch oven; stir in tomato sauce, chili powder and chocolate kiss.
  • Cook over low heat 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add kidney beans; cook until thoroughly heated. Garnish if desired.
