Ingredients

  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1 med. onion, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1 (15 ounce.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tbsp. spaghetti sauce seasoning
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Spray natural vegetable cooking spray on bottom and sides of large skillet to cover surface.
  • Heat skillet over medium heat.
  • Add in meat, onions and garlic and cook till brown, stirring frequently.
  • Add in remaining ingredients, except Parmesan cheese.
  • Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered 10 min, stirring occasionally.
  • Spoon sauce over heated pasta.
  • Toss.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Makes 6 servings (about 5 c.).
