Ingredients
- 1 c. oleo or butter
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- 1/3 c. nuts
Method
- Combine oleo, sugar, corn syrup and water in a deep saucepan. Cook to 300°, stirring 2 or 3 times.
- Add vanilla.
- Pour into a 9 x 13-inch buttered pan.
- Put chips on top; spread until melted, then sprinkle with nuts.
- Put in refrigerator to set.
