Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- dash of salt
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Melt butter and chocolate together.
- In separate bowl, beat eggs; add salt and sugar.
- Mix in melted butter and chocolate. Stir in flour, baking powder and nuts.
- Add vanilla.
- Bake in a buttered 9 x 7-inch pan at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in square comes out clean.
- I usually double this recipe.
- May be kept in freezer for unplanned treats.
