Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. melted butter or margarine
- 2 egg whites
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. whipped cream or Cool Whip
Method
- Mix flour, walnuts, brown sugar and butter until crumbly. Place in a cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
- Whip egg whites, sugar, strawberries and lemon juice for 10 minutes.
- Fold whipped cream into strawberry mixture.
- Place 1/2 of crumble mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan, cover with strawberry mix, then crumble rest of mixture on top.
- Cover and freeze for 6 hours.
