Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 c. cream
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. dry mustard
- 10 oz. Cool Whip
- assorted fresh fruits, sliced, chopped and drained well
Method
- Melt butter and add vinegar.
- Mix in beaten eggs and cream. In separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt and dry mustard.
- Add egg mixture to dry mixture slowly.
- Add butter and vinegar.
- Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Let cool and refrigerate.
- Add Cool Whip before serving.
- Blend into assorted fresh fruit pieces.
- May store sauce in refrigerator up to one month.
