Ingredients
- 1 pkg. white cake mix (pudding in the mix)
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. Jell-O gelatin (flavor of choice)
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 (8 oz.) tub whipped topping
- 2 c. sliced strawberries or other fruit
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (for garnish)
Method
- Heat oven to 350°. Prepare cake according to package directions. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 baking pan. After baking, let cool in pan 15 minutes. Pierce cake at 1/2-inch intervals with a large fork.
