Ingredients

  • 375 ml (1½ cups) cream
  • 200 g (7 oz) mild gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 40 g (1½ oz) butter
  • pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
  • toasted walnuts, broken up roughly, to
  • garnish

Method

1. Put the cream, gorgonzola, Parmesan and butter in a saucepan and heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes, or until the cheeses have melted into a smooth sauce.

2. Stir in the nutmeg and serve immediately over the hot pasta. Garnish with the walnuts.
