Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. sugar (brown, granulated or possibly mixed)
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 c. fresh or possibly canned fruit

Method

  • While preheating oven to 350 degrees, place stick of butter in 9 x 13 inch pan in oven to heat.
  • Remove pan from oven.
  • Mix flour, sugar, lowfat milk and vanilla.
  • Pour over butter in pan.
  • Spread fruit proportionately over batter.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 min.
  • Batter will rise over fruit.
