Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 lb. cabbage, shredded
- 2 tart red apples, sliced
- salt
- 1 Tbsp. caraway seed
Method
- Heat oil in large skillet or Dutch oven.
- Add cabbage and cook 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Add apples. Cook a few minutes longer.
- Reduce heat.
- Add salt and caraway seed, cover and cook about 20 minutes.
- Makes 6 servings.
