- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (4 1/2 oz.) cans mushrooms
- 1 (6 oz.) tomato paste
- 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 2 tsp. fennel seed (optional)
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 12 oz. spaghetti
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
Method
- Spray a large skillet with Pam.
- Add ground turkey, onion and pepper; cook and stir over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender, then drain.
- Stir tomato sauce, mushrooms, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, garlic salt and pepper. Bring mixture to boiling; reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Cook spaghetti; omit oil and salt.
- Serve sauce over spaghetti.
