- 1 large can crushed pineapple (use juice)
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 large can red sour cherries, strained
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 6 medium bananas, sliced
- 1 small pkg. orange jello
- 1 small pkg. gelatin
- 1 small can coconut
- 3 baked pie shells
- whipped cream (optional)
Method
- Combine pineapple, sugar and flour and cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Dissolve jello and gelatin in 1/4 cup hot water.
- Add to pineapple mixture and cool. Add cherries, nuts, bananas and coconut.
- Put into 3 baked pie shells and put in refrigerator to set for 1 hour or more.
- Serve with whipped cream!
