Ingredients

  • 1 large can crushed pineapple (use juice)
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 large can red sour cherries, strained
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 6 medium bananas, sliced
  • 1 small pkg. orange jello
  • 1 small pkg. gelatin
  • 1 small can coconut
  • 3 baked pie shells
  • whipped cream (optional)

Method

  • Combine pineapple, sugar and flour and cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Dissolve jello and gelatin in 1/4 cup hot water.
  • Add to pineapple mixture and cool. Add cherries, nuts, bananas and coconut.
  • Put into 3 baked pie shells and put in refrigerator to set for 1 hour or more.
  • Serve with whipped cream!
