Ingredients

  • 6 -8 lbs baby back ribs
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tablespoons vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons soya sauce
  • 1 cup bottled steak sauce
  • 6 tablespoons white wine
  • 1 cup chinese plum sauce
  • 2 (16 ounce) jars liquid honey
  • 6 tablespoons molasses

Method

  • Put ribs in large pot, cover with water, add next 5 ingredients.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool, covered, for one hour in liquid.
  • Mix sauce ingredients well.
  • Remove ribs from water and place in baking pan, cover with sauce.
  • Cover pan with foil and bake in 350 degree oven for one hour, stirring periodically.
